Our matcha from the Rize region in Turkey is not only unique in taste – it
also impresses with its valuable ingredients, which have been confirmed in an independent laboratory.
Here you can find out what's in our matcha and why it's so special

EGCG (Epigallocatechin gallate)

Antioxidants from green tea

Our matcha is characterized by a high content of natural catechins, including EGCG (epigallocatechin gallate) with an analyzed content of 6.9%. EGCG is one of the most important secondary plant compounds in green tea and has been valued for centuries as part of a balanced diet.

Thanks to the gentle processing, color, taste and plant ingredients are preserved in their natural form.

Catechins

Natural Catechins

Our matcha contains a high proportion of natural catechins of 9.5%. Catechins are secondary plant compounds that significantly contribute to the characteristic taste, vibrant color, and special quality of matcha.

Thanks to the gentle manufacturing process, these plant compounds are preserved in their natural form – a quality feature of high-quality matcha products.

Caffeine

Natural caffeine

Our matcha contains 2.9% natural caffeine, which is approximately 60 mg per serving (2g). The caffeine comes exclusively from green tea and is a natural component of high-quality matcha.

Due to the combination with other plant-based ingredients, matcha differs significantly from coffee in taste and character. One serving is roughly equivalent to the caffeine content of an espresso.

L-Theanine

L-theanine is a naturally occurring amino acid found almost exclusively in tea plants. Due to the use of the entire tea leaf, matcha is one of the natural sources of L-theanine.

Through gentle processing, these plant components are preserved in their original form - a quality feature of high-quality matcha.

Chlorophyll

The intense, vibrant green color of our Matcha is a sign of its natural chlorophyll content. Chlorophyll is a plant pigment found in green tea leaves and contributes significantly to the color and quality of high-grade Matcha.

Vitamins in Matcha

In addition to secondary plant compounds, matcha also contains naturally occurring vitamins that are part of the tea leaves. These include, among others, beta-carotene (vitamin A), various B vitamins, vitamin C, vitamin E, and vitamin K.

Since the entire tea leaf is ground for matcha, these plant components remain in the powder. Actual levels may vary depending on harvest, processing, and storage.

Minerals in Matcha

In addition to plant-based ingredients, matcha also contains naturally occurring minerals that are part of the tea leaves. These include potassium, calcium, magnesium, iron, and zinc.

Since the entire tea leaf is ground in matcha, these minerals remain in the powder. The actual content can vary depending on the growing region, harvest, and processing.

Our matcha contains a natural variety of plant-based ingredients, including catechins and EGCG, natural caffeine, L-theanine, and chlorophyll. These components are characteristic of high-quality matcha and contribute to its balanced taste, vibrant green color, and fine texture.

The powder is laboratory-tested, free from additives, and comes from the Black Sea region of Turkey. Gently processed and sustainably produced – for everyone who values quality, origin, and conscious enjoyment.
