✨ Ingredients for 1 glass

  • 4 to 5 frozen blackberries
  • a little water
  • 100 ml plant-based milk
  • 1 tsp HEALTHBAR Ceremonial Matcha – to the product
  • 30 ml water for the matcha

How it works – Step-by-step

1. Heat the blackberries
Slowly heat the frozen blackberries with a little water in a small saucepan until soft.

2. Make the fruit purée
Press the softened blackberries through a fine sieve to remove the seeds and skins, creating a smooth purée.

3. Froth the milk
Froth the plant-based milk, gradually adding the blackberry purée until it develops a delicate pink or vibrant colour.

4. Prepare the matcha
Whisk MATCHA REVOLUTION Premium Matcha with approximately 30 ml of hot water at around 80°C until smooth and frothy.

5. Add the topping
Carefully spoon the blackberry milk foam over the matcha and serve immediately.

Collapsible content

Can I use fresh blackberries?

Yes – then just add a little more water to create enough broth.

Which milk froths best?

Barista editions of oat or soy milk provide the most stable foam.

Can I prepare the foam in advance?

Better to prepare fresh, otherwise it will lose volume.

Does that work cold too?

Yes – simply froth cold berry juice with cold milk and pour it over iced matcha.
